President Sirisena Visits Ampara General Hospital – 03 May 2015

President Maithripala Sirisena paid a visit to the Ampara General Hospital on Sunday, 3rd May 2015, where he personally inquired into the well-being of patients and distributed fruits.

Expressing appreciation for the hospital staff, the President stated that the highest tribute a politician or public servant can receive is the gratitude of the people. He praised the hospital's management and staff for their commitment and service under challenging conditions.

During the visit, the hospital presented a memento to the President to mark the occasion. Notable attendees included Deputy Minister Anoma Gamage, Eastern Province Governor Austin Fernando, and Eastern Provincial Opposition Leader Daya Gamage.
