Candidate Sajith Premadasa Receives Blessings at Katharagama Dewalaya

Sajith Premadasa, the UNP-led alliance candidate contesting under the Eksath Jathika Pakshaya (United National Front – UNF) for the 2019 Presidential Election, visited the sacred Katharagama Dewalaya on 12th October 2019.

During the visit, Premadasa received blessings from the Mahanayaka Thero and took part in religious rituals, seeking spiritual strength and guidance ahead of the election.

He was accompanied by Minister of Primary Industries Daya Gamage and Minister of Public Administration Ranjith Madduma Bandara, both senior members of the UNF campaign team.

The visit to this revered religious site highlighted the candidate’s deep respect for Sri Lanka’s cultural and religious traditions, reinforcing his message of unity and national service.
