Bilateral Meeting Strengthens Sri Lanka–Thailand Economic Cooperation

Colombo, March 10, 2016 — A high-level bilateral meeting on economic cooperation between Sri Lanka and Thailand was held at The Dorchester, Kingsbury Hotel, Colombo.

The meeting brought together Hon. Malik Samarawickrama, Minister of Development Strategies and International Trade of Sri Lanka, and H.E. Dr. Somkid Jatusripitak, Deputy Prime Minister (Economic Affairs) of Thailand, along with senior ministers, public officials, and prominent business leaders from both nations.

Discussions focused on key areas of mutual interest, including strengthening trade relations, promoting investments in Sri Lanka, and exploring new avenues for economic collaboration. The event provided a vital platform for both countries to share ideas, build partnerships, and enhance bilateral trade and investment opportunities.

As the official photographer, I had the privilege of capturing this important diplomatic engagement, documenting the moments of discussion, cooperation, and cultural exchange between the two delegations.
