St. Anthony’s College rallied magnificently to beat their hometown rivals Dharmaraja College 36–17 in their Inter-Schools Under-19 League Rugby Tournament Bowl Championship match played at Nittawela Stadium in Kandy yesterday.

Meanwhile, Science College recorded a morale-boosting 28–16 victory over Vidyartha College in another Bowl Championship fixture played at Mount Lavinia. Thurstan College produced a fine all-round performance as they held favourites Mahanama College to a thrilling 19–19 draw in their Bowl Championship match at the Sugathadasa Stadium in Colombo.
